What is Brokerbrock?
We are an organization dedicated to promoting fundamental economic growth and social change in developing countries. We do this by helping people to introduce quality products to world markets by employing new technologies and innovative marketing strategies.

What countries are we helping or serving?
As of November 2006 we are working only in Panama and Kazakhstan. We will be adding many other countries over the next few months. If you have ideas you want to share please contact us.

What is a Field Broker?
A Field Broker is a person who works with artisans and small manufacturers in distant parts of the world to help them promote their products through BrokerBrock.com to the world marketplace. The Field Broker generally will live in the area of the artists, maintaining a place where the artisans can bring their goods to leave on consignment for sale.

What is a Sales Broker?
A Sales Broker assists the BrokerBrock system by checking out items to sell and marketing them through various channels to sell the items for the Field Brokers and Artisans. They may have their own website, use eBay™ or can use the BrokerBrock online store system. From there they can use eBay auctions or special marketing tools that present their merchandise to prospects in a store format.

How much does it cost to be a Field Broker?
[Preliminary] Since Field Brokers are the source of all the items in the system, we do all we can to encourage their work. This includes allowing them to upload all the items they wish at no charge. Initially, there will be startup costs if they do not already own the required items and services.

How much does it cost to be a Sales Broker?
Since the Sales Brokers tend to make the highest dollar and percentage amounts on the sales, there are costs involved with being a Sales Broker. Sales Brokers pay a small fee each month to use the system and a per item charge to check items out for sale. [Preliminary] At this time, the amounts being considered are $29.95 per month and 1% of the cost of the item checked out per month.

What does BrokerBrock get out of the system?
Our primary value is in helping people. That's why we formed BrokerBrock. However, we also need to make a little along the way and do so by adding a small surcharge on items that sell. That's how we can afford to build the system and keep it updated and bring new features to it on a regular basis. This cost is passed on to the Sales Broker and is then marked up for the final sale. We also charge a resonable fee to the Sales Brokers for use of the system.

Are their any guarantees in working with BrokerBrock?
BrokerBrock stands behind every transaction. Part of our responsibilty is to assure that everyone that deals with us is treated fairly and will have no complaint. If anything goes wrong, from a shipment being lost, to an item not being as described, or someone is just not happy, we will stand behind the purchase and either offer a refund, equal merchandise credit, or a replacement and something extra. Our goal is to make sure EVERY sale works for all involved. We can do this because we only work with those who feel the same way and will go the extra mile to please the customers. This protects all our Brokers and develops customer loyalty.

Can I recommend a country or group for BrokerBrock to work with?

Are the costs of BrokerBrock passed on to the Artists and Field Brokers?
No, all the costs of operating the system are passed UP the line to the Sales Brokers and end purchasers. That way, the artists receive the highest amount for their goods with little or no costs associated.

Is there a fee for checking products out?
Yes. When you check a product out, Brokerbrock will charge you a small fee per month for the privaledge of selling this product. The fee charged is 1% per month and is added to your account balence.

What is this page for?
This page allows you to review all items/products you have checked out. This includes your own products and products you have checked out from Brokerbrock.
